Veteran's Day weekend - Fill the Barn Mission

We're giving thanks this Veteran's Day with our most heartfelt salute to those who've served and with prayers for those who fell while fighting for freedom.

In honor of the countless servicemen and women and service equines who've fought for peace, starting today and through the week end, we are asking you to participate in our Veteran's Day - Fill the Barn Mission by giving back to equines in need. America's horses have fought and died in our wars and their loyalty and courage continues as they stand by our side in the fight to uphold peace, justice and freedom for all.  Join us today in honor of America's horses and burros in need.

This event starts at 9:00am this morning and goes for 48 hours. During the event the Wild for Life Foundation (WFLF) and its Saving America's Horses program will be rallying supporters from across the country to make this weekend most generous and compassionate week end ever!
Help us make a difference!
As many of you know, WFLF strives to support and further our mission of lifesaving rescue, rehabilitation, adoption and sanctuary for at risk wild and domestic horses and burros in need, including roundup victims, as well as those victimized through the slaughter pipeline.

This year, our goal is to engage at least 200 donors and raise $10,000 to help us FILL THE BARN to support essential feed and care costs

Your donation of any amount will help feed a horse for a week, or help pay the cost of veterinary care or feed the herd for a month! Just $25 helps to provide partial feed to a horse, and $50 helps provide full feed for a horse and $100 helps to pay for feed and primary care for horses for a month

Employers Match Donations, Does Yours?  Hey volunteers!

Did you know YOU could earn grant money to help the horses from your employer just by volunteering?
Many Employers offer money when their employees volunteer. Here are a few examples:
Microsoft provides a $17 grant to a nonprofit per every hour volunteered by an employee.
State Farm provides a $500 grant nonprofit when an employee volunteers for+ 40 hours.
Verizon provides a $750 grant to a nonprofit when an employee volunteers for 50+ hours.
Check with your employer. You could help purchase that next load of hay!

You can also mail a check to:

WFLF Hay Donation Drive to Feed Rescued Equines through Spring and Summer 2017

Dearest Friends and Supporters,
It's that time of year again!  We are asking for your help to raise essential funds  to feed rescued equines through spring and summer 2017.
Financial contributions are crucial to replenish and build Wild For Life Foundation's (WFLF) lifesaving hay fund. Hay is the single most expensive ongoing cost in operating an equine rescue and protection program.

Continued donations are needed to help keep hay fund reserves intact and in turn provide capacity assurance which enable us to provide lifesaving rescue and protection services for as many equines in need as possible.

Please give generously today to help us keep our hay intact!

WFLF has stepped up during very troubling times and taken responsibility for numerous wild and domestic horses victimized by starvation and displacement over the years. Having vital hay funds is what makes it possible for WFLF to carry on this lifesaving work. Without adequate hay supplies, we would be forced to turn away needy starving horses; horses that would have nowhere else to go. WFLF relies on continued tax deductible donations to save these equines and keep them safe, healthy and protected.

If you can, Please give today.

Text GIVE 18272 to 80088 to donate $10 to WFLF Hay Drive

WFLF provides lifesaving hay, urgent care, primary care, rehabilitation and safe
haven habitats equines who have been victims of cruelty, starvation and displacement. WFLF also works with law enforcement officers who seize abused companion animals, but are often times ill-equipped to deal with horses who are in need of round the clock care.

Every donation is paramount in this vital fundraising goal, whether it’s a $5 or
$100. It takes all of us to make a difference in the lives of the horses we all share our love for. Please share to help and give what you can.

With Gratitude and Blessings,

The Wild For Life Foundation

Together We can Make a Difference

When times are difficult for people, they can be insurmountable for horses. That's where we come in. Like you, we are passionate about helping the animals, that's why we do what we do.

This is Mariachi - he was so weak and emaciated when we rescued him that we had to lift him into the trailer to bring him to safety. His full recovery and the countless other lives that we continually save through our lifesaving missions, are costly, especially for a grassroots volunteer charity rescue like ours. However, these lifesaving missions are essential if we want to help our fellow animals. The results from your kind hay donations and our tireless volunteer work in the trenches, have proven time and time again to save and protect these animal's lives.  We can't do it without you. We need your continued support to carry out these urgent missions!
Mariachi was saved from starvation and slaughter.  He is one of many animals you will be helping with your compassionate gift. These animals are counting on us.  We are their voice and they need to be heard.

Wild For Life Foundation is reaching out to all its volunteers and supporters to help raise funds for the purchase of hay. It takes over $6,500 per month for the purchase of hay to feed the rescue horses and burros at our rescue shelter and sanctuary. Please consider making a tax deductible donation so that our much needed work on behalf of the animals can continue.
