With each passing day, as we continue our work on behalf of America’s horses and burros, many lives are saved, however countless lives are lost forever. We dedicate SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES to all of them.
Strong federal protection is needed for America’s wild and domestic horses and burros through permanent federal laws that will stop the killing, ban the slaughter of America’s equines and put an end to their exportation from the U.S. for slaughter in foreign countries.
This is a global issue that impacts people, the animals, the environment and the future of life on our planet.
Saving America’s Horses spotlights the imminent and urgent health risks to humans and the environmental impact caused by the capture, removal, transport and stockpiling of both wild and domestic horses that are slaughtered for human consumption.
