WE ARE THE NAME WE CARRY - SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES

March 17, 2017, Riverside, CA - "WE ARE THE NAME WE CARRY" - Call to ACTION Advocacy  Campaign with HONOR AND INTEGRITY from SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES.

At SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES we are the name we carry. We embrace integrity and see our
mission to save, protect, defend and preserve our equine family as a sacred trust.

Chief Spiritual Leader, Daniel "Eagle Warrior" Ramos, Choctaw Muskogee Yamassee Nation has said to me, ""When the Great Spirit gives you one of the Sacred's to take care of, you have a obligation and responsibility to do just that. In our culture, when you are given Sacreds to carry our obligation and responsibility is not for our selves but the Sacred Medicine we carry and take care of, in a "good way". When you carry the Sacredness with all of your Being and Breath of Life you BECOME ONE with that SACRED, AHO MiTAKUYE OYSIN!""

"Saving America's Horses" is the name that was brought to us through the spirit of the horse Nation."  said Katia Louise, filmmaker, SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES: A NATION BETRAYED. "Our four-legged relatives, the horse Nation have carried us as people through history. And we have come to a place in time when they need us to carry them,"

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES "WE ARE THE NAME WE CARRY" is a Call to Action on a personal level to walk in the path of justice and integrity for America's horses, to exercise courage as we take care of those who are weaker, and to carry your own name in honor of the clear and unwavering principals of integrity.

Through SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES, we're fighting against the destructive efforts by the Bureau of Land Management to exterminate the last of America’s wild horses and burros in the wild. And, were fighting to save thousands of wild and domestic equines who are systemically mistreated, removed, and transported across federal borders for human consumption abroad.

We're vigorously working to save, protect, preserve, defend and provide for abused, neglected, abandoned and slaughter bound wild and domestic equines, and educate the public, in effort to raise compassion and improve the standards of protection for America’s equine populations as a whole.

Help us make a win for America's horses and fight against malicious acts that impugn the ethical and moral standards that SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES fights every day to uphold.

We’re raising awareness and needed funds to help save and aid victimized horses and burros including babies, orphan foals, nursing mama’s and other at-risk equines who’ve recently been rescued under Wild For Life Foundation's Equine Rescue and Recovery mission.  Funds raised will help pay for their most essential needs including veterinary medical care, nutritional food, transport and peaceful safe habitats.

Meet Orroyo!  Orroyo is featured on our special limited edition Hope Tees for Horses t-shirts which are only available for a limited time.  Click here to be among the first to order!

Within weeks of losing her freedom, her family, her home on America’s public range-land, Avalon a sweet and innocent little wild burro gave birth to her baby son, Orroyo.  And, thanks to the continued support from caring people like you, we were able save Avalon, her baby and her family - And, reunite and place them at our wild horse and burro recovery center. Avalon and Orroyo have since transitioned to our sanctuary program where they are safely enjoying an open space natural habitat. Their story is helping to raise awareness and aid for America's wild horses and burros. These precious wild ones are just a few of the many wild burros and horses whose stories we are sharing.

Check out this adorable t-shirt and see Scooter and his mommy, Clarabelle.  Scooter is one of our newest arrivals and he’s just days old!  Clarabelle is one of the six pregnant Jennies who came into our program earlier this year. In 2008, when Wild for life Foundation set out to establish its equine rescue and sanctuary program, our goal was to save the lives of high-risk horses and raise awareness for the need to protect them from cruelty.  Six years later, this program has transcended even our wildest wishes, filling us with great pride and motivating us to do even more.  In 2012, we began development of our vision for the new millennium, the western regional animal sanctuary and preserve plan comprised of natural habitat preserves, captive wildlife and companion animal sanctuaries. Phase one of WFLF's master plan includes the acquisition of 72 acres in Fallbrook, CA where the mild climate, lush vegetation and rolling hills of a new Sanctuary Center are the perfect setting for an animal sanctuary and wellness center. Plans for the Sanctuary Center include animal rescue programming for equines and canines.  As a WFLF Development Chair for the Sanctuary Center, and an Advisory Board Member, Ms. Casati will be playing an active roll both in the Sanctuary Center programs.

The Wild for Life Foundation (WFLF) is a U.S. registered tax exempt 501 (c)3 nonprofit charity dedicated to protecting America's equines through rescue, rehabilitation, education and sanctuary. The WFLF provides programs with a focus on promoting community enrichment, including wild horse preserves, equine wellness activities and robust equine assisted programs for active duty military, veterans and their families, as well as disadvantaged youth and others in need. We save the lives of homeless, mistreated and slaughter bound horses whose healing hearts enhance the lives of people.  Federal ID Number: 26-3052458
